President Tomoji Takamasa began his tenure as the 3rd president of NIT Toyama College on April 1st, 2017.

President Takamasa is an award-winning scholar and a talented administrator with a record of successful innovation in the promotion of research and globalization.
From 2012-2015, he served as vice president, and as a member of the board of trustees, at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.
His research interests include energy engineering, nuclear engineering, and marine engineering.
At the welcome ceremony held on April 4th, he expressed his hope to contribute to the further development of NIT Toyama college, emphasizing security management, and the creation of a network for ongoing and open communication.
