Department of Mechanical Engineering
From the basics of manufacturing engineering to leading-edge technology. Strive to be an engineer of the future
The aim of this program is to train creative, highly inquisitive engineers equipped with a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering built on a solid foundation of hands-on fabrication and production technology. These engineers will have the capability to design machinery and develop manufacturing and processing technology.
The main content of study of each school year
Year 1 |
Exploring familiar mechanical mechanisms You will acquire the basic knowledge needed for engineering and will broaden your cultural horizons while studying the fundamentals of specialized disciplines. |
|
---|---|---|
Year 2 |
Taking up the challenge of hands-on fabrication You will learn the basic core knowledge needed for mechanical engineering and start designing and making real devices in laboratory and practical classes. |
|
Year 3 |
More advanced specialized subjects with more advanced laboratory and practical classes You will start classes on design, processing, materials, and engineering, increasing your level of specialization. |
|
Year 4 |
Start on fundamental research in preparation for your senior project To deepen your knowledge of mechanical engineering, you will pursue more highly specialized subjects and laboratory work. |
|
Year 5 |
You will work mostly on your senior project, paving the way toward becoming a fully fledged engineer In addition to studying applied technology, you will engage in research and development utilizing all the knowledge you have thus far acquired. |
