General Information

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Toyama College and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) will provide opportunities for a study meeting, introduction of seeds for joint research, a joint research proposal and promotion of faculty member exchange via the “International Conference on Engineering and Technology 2016 (ICET 2016)”. The event will take place in Toyama, Japan. There will be two keynote speeches in the conference. Oral presentations and poster presentation about the engineering and technology in the broad meaning will be held in the morning and afternoon sessions. In the evening, a banquet reception will be provided.

Author's Guideline

Oral Presentation


To apply ICET2016, individual author must fill  "Abstract Submission Form" and send it to the Organizing committee ( until August 1, 2016.

Short Paper

Short paper submissions must adhere to "the paper formatting instructions" .  Short papers will be A4 size, not exceed 2 single-spaced pages. The paper should be prepared according to the standard format with the additional editorial rules, and will be published as proceedings.The short papers should be submitted as PDF files to to the Organizing committee by E-mail ( until September 1, 2016. The short papers will be judged for quality and relevance through the reviewing.


Each oral session room will be set with an LCD projector. Please bring your own laptop PC.

Each oral presentation is allocated 20 minutes (or depending on the number of papers in the session). You should spend about 15 minutes for presentation. An additional 5 minutes should be available for discussion with the attendees.

Student Poster Session


Student Poster presenter must submit "Abstract Submission Form for Poster Session" to Organizing committee ( Abstract may include single figure.

The abstract of the accepted posters will appear in the conference proceedings.


Poster will be A0 size and should be according to "the poster format".


Poster session will be divided to two sessaions each 30 min.
